Craig Schollenberger

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice in Flying Hills, PA. I was first introduced to yoga in 1972 during a training as a substance abuse counselor. I practiced for about an hour each day for years. In the mid 1990’s, I read Jon Kabat-Zinn’s book, Wherever You Go, There You Are. I became interested in a meditation practice separate from yoga as a result. The book included an opportunity to order copies of guided meditations by Jon Kabat-Zinn. I purchased the tapes and practiced with them regularly for years. In 2009, I had an opportunity to attend a seminar on Mindfulness in Education in Philadelphia. The weekend ended with a Day of Mindfulness practice led by Jon Kabat-Zinn. That experience led to my pursuit of formal training.
